How to purchase Building Dashboard®

Lucid makes the process of bringing your buildings online streamlined and straightforward from beginning to end. In the future, your Building Dashboard is easily expandable to monitor additional buildings and resources. Learn more about our available data integration options and display add-ons below. Step 1: Choose a data integration method

Building Dashboard is designed to be universally compatible with all building automation and energy management systems, including: Alerton, Automated Logic, Cisco, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Square D/Schneider Electric, Trane, Tridium and more. In buildings without monitoring equipment, Lucid's out-of-the-box data logger and metering package is recommended.

Your building or campus-wide BAS or energy management system serves data to Lucid's off-site servers Your utility meters and sub-meters report data readings to Lucid's off-site servers using Lucid's own data logger If no metering infrastructure exists, then Lucid's recommended metering package and data logger must be installed
Lucid works with you to configure your BAS to securely and automatically push data to the Dashboard Lucid ships you a plug-and-play, Internet-enabled data logger to connect with your existing meters Lucid ships you all metering and data logger hardware
Facilities professional required for configuration Electrician or qualified professional required for installation Electrician or qualified professional required for installation

Lucid's data logger begins working as soon as you plug it into your meters and the Internet. For all options above, new buildings and resources can be added to your Dashboard rapidly and cost effectively through additional BAS integrations and data logger expansion.

 

Step 2: Choose your display add-ons

Building Dashboard Network is a website accessible from any Internet browser and many web-enabled devices. The Network is included in every Dashboard purchase, and additional Apps and Widgets are also available. Building Dashboard Kiosk enhances the visibility of the Network by displaying your Building Dashboard on publicly accessible touchscreen monitors.

Building Dashboard Network comes with all purchases; users also gain access to the entire Dashboard Network Many free or premium Apps and Widgets can be added to your Dashboard Building Dashbaord Kiosk can also be added, with one or more touch-enabled widescreen monitors
Users may access your Dashboard on any personal computer and many web-enabled devices   Touchscreen packages include 32", 42" and 46" models to suit your site-specific requirements

All touchscreen units are housed in rugged enclosures and capable of being mounted on walls or stands. Every touchscreen package includes a touchscreen monitor, wall mount, small form factor PC and all necessary display cables. Step 3: Contact a Lucid sales representative

Lucid's sales staff are here to answer all your questions about Building Dashboard Network and Building Dashboard Kiosk. If you don't know which integration methods and display add-ons are best for your organization, we are happy to give you detailed recommendations. The more information you have about your building or campus, the better we can assist you:

If your building is still in design or construction, what is the estimated completion date of the project? If you have an existing building, when do you aim to have Building Dashboard up and running?

If applicable, what type of building automation system (BAS) is installed in your building or deployed across your campus? Are all of your meters tied into the system?

How many buildings do you wish to monitor, and specifically what resources (for example: electricity, water, natural gas, solar PV)? If applicable, what per-floor or per-load sub-metering exists within each building?

What Apps and Widgets are you interested in seeing on your Dashboard? Do you wish to include one or more touchscreens in your building or across your campus?
