Building Dashboard® debuts in Future House USA at Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

Beijing, China - Future House USA, showcasing the most advanced residential green technologies available on the market today, uses Building Dashboard® to display the electricity use and solar photovoltaic production at the net-zero home in real time during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. From the website:
"One area that had not modernized at the same rate as other economic sectors within the Chinese economy is housing. As a result, in 2003, China's Ministry of Construction authorized a project aimed at integrating a number of concepts including the use of new and renewable energy sources, energy conservation technologies, environmental compatibility, pollution reduction and the use of modern digital technologies to create a housing design that will address both the need for modern housing and the need to reduce environmental contamination.
"As part of the project, the Ministry authorized the construction of ten demonstration homes to be completed prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Each of the homes will be built by a different country, demonstrating the most modern and environmentally sustainable housing construction practices and technologies available from each ... Future House USA employs an advanced design that integrates the architectural innovations of Frank Llyod Wright and the Chinese practice of Feng-Shui."
