Gartner names Lucid Design Group "Cool Vendor" in Sustainability, 2010

Oakland, CA - Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, names Lucid Design Group one of five "Cool Vendors" offering interesting solutions for managing the enterprise energy and carbon management areas, and the built environment. The report illustrates how Lucid's Building Dashboard® technology has set the standard for web-based resource use displays, building management integration and social networking around conservation.
Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: Innovative (enable users to do things they couldn't do before); Impactful (have, or will have, business impact -- not just technology for the sake of technology); and Intriguing (have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months). Gartner identified Lucid as a valuable company for improving communication and usage visibility, and changing occupant behavior.
