Lucid's Building Dashboard® showcased in LEED® Platinum home
January 16, 2007
Santa Monica, CA - A new Building Dashboard® system is unveiled at the grand opening of the LivingHomes® model home, the first home to receive the LEED® Platinum rating. Lucid Design Group's display is intended to enhance homeowner awareness of the benefits of green building. A multi-use media screen in the living room and a touch-screen in the kitchen display energy consumption and solar electricity production from the roof-mount photovoltaic panels in real-time.
LivingHomes® has received the highest rating possible for its model home from the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) new pilot, the LEED® for Homes rating system, making it the first residential project in the country to attain a Platinum rating and setting a new national standard in sustainable construction.
LivingHomes® is Lucid Design Group's partner, a leading developer of modern prefab homes designed by world-class architects, and the first company to make LEED® certified, prefab homes available to consumers nationwide.
